What is Red Food Dye #40? Does it really have an impact on our health? I listened to a nutritionist today bring up briefly the topic of Red Food Dye #40 and the research of its impact as a neuro-toxin.
I took it upon myself to google the list of foods that contain this food dye and I was shocked. I have always thought it was just used in RED food. Boy was I wrong!

Does it really have an impact on concentration, behavior and activity with my little guy? Maybe I should try to eliminate it and see what happens? Has anyone done this and if so, what is your experience and how effective or not was it with your family???
